Optica is a desktop application that provides AI-powered assistance through our Copilot feature. The service includes various AI capabilities designed to help with research, brainstorming, learning, and creative tasks. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

3. License and Usage

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Optica for personal or commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Use the service to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

4. AI Copilot Usage Guidelines

When using Optica Copilot, you agree to:

  • Use the AI features responsibly and ethically
  • Not attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI system
  • Not use the service to generate content that violates laws or regulations
  • Understand that AI-generated content may contain errors and should be verified
  • Not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions

5. User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

6. Intellectual Property

Optica and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. AI-generated content created through Optica Copilot is provided to you for your use, but we retain rights to the underlying AI models and technology.

7. Free Service and Limitations

Optica is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. Free service may include usage limitations, and we may modify these limitations at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Optica is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. AI-generated content is provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or reliability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of Optica.

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update Optica from time to time to add new features, fix bugs, or improve performance. You agree to accept such updates, which may be installed automatically. We may also modify these Terms of Service at any time, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Optica immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Optica shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
